1) Can we ask for less salt, oil and no msg for the tingkat food?

Ans: Our chefs cook with less salt, less oil and no added MSG.

2) What are the mode of payments accepted by the company?

Ans: We accept Cash/Cheques/credit card payments. For cash/cheques, payment has to be made  on the first day of delivery to our delivery staff.
Cheque payment is to be crossed and made payable to Chu Wei San Tong Food Holdings Pte Ltd
Credit card payment is only available for submitted online orders.  It is also the preferred payment mode for 10 days trial orders.

3) Will there be any invoice issued to me once I have made the order?

Ans: A copy of invoice & menu will be issued to you on the first day of delivery. Otherwise, the invoice & menu will be given on the next working day when full payment is received either by cash or cheque.

4) Can I terminate if the food is not suitable for me?   or   I do not wish to continue with the tingkat anymore. 

Ans: There will be strictly no refund for early termination prior to expiry date of the tingkat cycle.

5) Can I ask for replacement meals if I am unable to eat the tingkat on certain days while I am on 10 days trial?

Ans: There will not be any replacement meal given. Replacement meal is only for customers who are on 20 days cycle.

6) I do not have the tingkat menu, where can I see it?

7) When will my tingkat expire?

Ans: The expiry date is written on the physical invoice issued upon payment. For customers on 20 days cycle with replacement meals to be given by the end of the cycle, you may call and check the dates with us @ 67439383.

8 ) How many maximum replacement meals can I get if I am on the 20 days cycle?

Ans: 5 days.

9) What is the delivery timing for lunch and dinner?

Ans: For lunch, 10am – 12.30pm, latest by 1pm depending on location and on traffic condition. For dinner, 2.30pm – 6.30pm, latest by 7pm depending on location and on traffic condition.

10) Can I customise the food to be excluded from my tingkat food? (e.g. to exclude certain food types like bean sprouts, long beans, fatty meat, fried food, toufu, etc)

Ans: We only accept options like No Chilli, No Curry, No Seafood (prawns and sotong) and No Pork at the moment. These options are shown in the online order form, and you may indicate your choices.

11) Do you serve vegetarian food for tingkat?

Ans: Sorry we do not serve vegetarian food at this moment for tingkat.

12) How can we contact Chu Wei San Tong regarding Tingkat service?

Ans: You can contact us via our Contact Us form or call us @ 67439383 during office hours (Mon-Fri, 9am – 6pm)

13) If I wish to extend/terminate my Tingkat Service, how can I go about doing it?

Ans: Kindly drop us an email or call with regards to your decision to terminate/renew the tingkat service. For customers who wish to make payment for the 20 days renewal, pls submit an online order at least 2 working days prior to the tingkat expiry date.

14) Do you provide confinement food?

Ans: Sorry, we do not have this service at the moment. 

15) Do you also provide Buffet services?

Ans: Yes, our buffet services start from as low as $150 per order for mini buffet and $8/pax for buffet with complete buffet settings. Pls visit this URL for more information and latest promotions; http://buffetcatering.sg/

16) What are the terms and conditions of tingkat ordering?

Ans: Terms and conditions are written in the home page, and also appears in the tingkat ordering form. By submitting the online order, customers have agreed to the terms and conditions.

17) Which areas do you NOT deliver tingkat to?

Ans: At present, we DO NOT  deliver tingkat to Sungei Kadut area, Tuas area, Pioneer Road and area, Benoi Sector, Shipyard Road and area, Gul Lane and area, and certain Pasir Panjang area. For customers in Pasir Panjang area, please call us to confirm. 

18) Can I ask for more meat for my tingkat order?

Ans: Additional 1 pax of meat is available for ordering at $1.25/pax and per meal. Please send request or advice us through phone call.

19) Do you deliver on weekends, public holidays and on eve of public holidays?

Ans: No, we do not deliver on weekends and on public holidays. Should there be a public holiday within the delivery period, the meal will be replaced the next weekday which is a non-public holiday. Unless there is an announcement issued, we will usually deliver on eve of public holidays too.

20) What kind of containers to be used to contain the food, and what are the charges like?

Ans: We are currently offering Microwavable Disposable Containers. There are no charges for Microwavable Disposable Containers.

21)I do not want 5 days delivery on weekdays. Can I opt for other options?

Ans: The minimum number of days for delivery on weekdays is 4 days. You may indicate your days of delivery in the online order form, or inform our customer service officer upon phone ordering. We do not provide delivery on weekends and public holidays. We also DO NOT allow changes to the days of delivery once the order has been submitted through online or phone ordering.

22)Why is the price the same regardless of 4 or 5 days per week delivery?

Ans: Customers will get full 10 or 20 days worth of delivery regardless of the no. of days chosen for delivery in a week. At present, the minimum days of delivery is 4 days a week. For example, if Friday is a non-delivery day, we will not count the Friday as part of the 10 or 20 days cycle. Hence, the price remains the same.
